Construction Equipment Mechanic
TYPE OF JOB: Full-time
We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our technical team, which specializes in the repair and maintenance of aerial work platforms, work platforms, and telehandlers. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in the maintenance of this equipment, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
ApplyMain responsibilities:
- Perform overhauls on: (differential, transmission) as well as overhauls on aerial work platforms, work platforms, and telehandlers.
- Be able to repair hydraulic cylinders.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on aerial work platforms, work platforms, and telehandlers in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and hours worked.
- Proven experience as a mechanic. A strong knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is required.
Required experience and training:
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Vocational education
- Intermediate written and spoken French
- Proven experience as a mechanic. A solid understanding of mechanics and hydraulics is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines
